LumaClean, LLC is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) born in February 2015 from a simple observation: Countless pain points were going unaddressed. We saw ongoing pain and frustration, and we heard people calling for solutions, but no one seemed to be listening.
That’s where we stepped in.
We listen intently, empathize deeply, and innovate tirelessly to develop solutions that make life better for people, both patients and healthcare professionals.
LumaClean, LLC is operated by the two Founders/Partners. A medical engineer and a registered dietitian. Martin von Dyck is a principal partner. Martin served as the President of Biosearch Medical Products, Inc, known globally as the “Enteral Innovator” and co-inventor of the Dobbhoff® naso-gastric feeding tube. After the year 2000, he moved from enteral products to laparoscopy work, focusing on cardiovascular/ neurovascular catheters and urology catheters. He recently developed a swallowable catheter to retrieve genetic and epigenic samples required for the early detection of esophageal carcinoma which has been used around the world.

Martin returned to the enteral medical device industry years later and saw that not much had changed. “With the exception of enteral feeding pumps and the formulations, product evolution stopped in the enteral market. And that’s why I’m earnestly coming back in with a vigor. I’m coming back to my roots - to my true passion. I couldn’t be more delighted.”
In 2023, after co-inventing the EnClean™ brush, designed to effectively clean ENFit connectors, Martin attended the Oley conference and met many patients and caregivers who inspired him to do more.
“It was an awakening for me to encounter so many patients who had many unaddressed needs. We want to focus on the pain points, both for the medical practitioners to the patient or the mom or dad or the relative providing care for a patient. There are so many unaddressed pain points. I want to fix that. We’re always listening, caring, and working toward solutions.”
