The heart of LumaCleanCares™ holds a deep sense of compassion and a relentless drive for innovation aimed at improving the lives of patients reliant on enteral nutrition. From gastroenterologists to dietitians to nurses, we understand the critical role that healthcare professionals play in managing the well-being of patients with feeding tubes. We're committed to supporting these professionals with better products for better patient outcomes.
How do we do it?
We listen. We hear the unmet needs of patients and produce quality products to address their pain and frustration.
We collaborate. The greatest resource for ideas that benefit our community is the community itself! We are eager for more opportunities to work with members of this community to transform the lives of those we serve.
Our innovative products – the EnClean® brush, StomaEase™ powder, and StomaDisc™ – are now carried at many large institutions and distributors. The EnClean® brush simplifies effective cleaning of feeding tube ENFit® connectors, while our StomaEase™ powder and StomaDisc™ work together to protect the skin around feeding tube stomas from issues caused by leakage.
Our team is currently working hard on additional medical products. If you've identified an unmet patient need, we'd love to hear from you and collaborate on new medical solutions.
Due to the complex design of the ENFit Connector, it's difficult to clean feeding tubes and risk of contamination increases. EnClean® Brushes are designed to fit between the threads and clean all the way to the bottom of the EnFit Connector. It removes formula and thoroughly cleans the internal threads of the EnFit® Connector. All bristles are germ-resistant. It is designed to last for a minimum of 30 days, if cleaned according to IFU.
Relief for Enteral Stomas Currently, no treatments address the root cause of skin breakdown around feeding tube sites. Leakage causes significant pain and discomfort to patients that range from minor irritation to wounds severe enough to require surgical excision. StomaEase™ was developed by a chemist with a feeding tube who was tired of dealing with constant pain.
